Personality Summary: Aiden is rather contemplative and introverted man. He enjoys exercising his mind and completing puzzles—which is why he enjoys programming. He doesn’t care much for socializing—preferring solitude—but his twin brother, Ashton, often drags him into social situations that he’s an unfortunate hostage of. Due to how often this happens, Aiden has learned the ends and outs of socializing with people. Aiden likes coming up with strategies and thinking about how to apply them. Aiden is very prone to spacing out mid-conversation. It’s not uncommon for people to accuse him of not listening to them.

He looks at the world with an intuitive and observant mind, experimenting with different concepts. While not much of a planner, his ability to breakdown complex ideas and patterns is what makes him the Defense Strategist and Programmer of the group. A lot of the systems within the Lost Woods were developed by him (with the help of Ben Abernathy).

Backstory: Aiden and his brother grew up outside of Kastonia. They moved to the giant city when they were 9 years old. The two siblings always stuck together. While Ashton preferred to make friends and play sports, Aiden preferred being on his own and read.

Aiden was pretty popular wherever he went. Even though he hated being the center of attention. In his eyes, he always thought people believed he was more special than he truly was. He never saw his abilities, looks, or intellect as something noteworthy. Because of this mindset, he truly believed he was just a regular guy with the most unfortunate luck.

He found himself in conversations he didn’t wish to be part of, hanging out with people he didn’t consider his friends, and getting into social situations that brought him a lot of social anxiety. This was mainly due to Ashton dragging him into these conundrums. Aiden never really had the heart to tell his brother no.

As a matter of fact, joining up with the other band of misfits was never his decision either. It was Ashton who had decided it for them. But it was the one decision that Ashton made for the both of them that Aiden doesn’t regret going along with.

After being recruited by Vii, he would still find himself in unlucky and even dangerous situations. But in getting to know the other kids and working with them, he finally felt a strong sense of purpose and community.

Present: Aiden currently works as the Defense Strategist for the Lost Woods. Whenever the group plans missions, he’s often working with some of the other members to make sure that things run smoothly.

Despite juggling college, club activities, and the freelance work he does, he’s truly dedicated and committed to the work.
